W7 Makeup Review

W7 Cosmetics is a brand I have seen many of times in stores or either on the internet. But hasn't been a brand I have tried before apart from a couple of lip balms. I was lucky enough to be sent a lovely box of goodies from Olivia to review.

Candy Blush
Angel Dust
£4.95

Candy Blush is a very subtle pink blusher, its a pretty baby pastel tone and is very light and natural. I would use this as a day to day blush but I personally prefer to use bronzers. It opens up into a good compact size with a mirror on the top, good for on the go use. It is the same size as a small compact mirror and the price is good. I would take this product to work to use but I don't think I would use this product on a night out.

Lip Paint Queen Of Hearts
Lip Paint
£4.95

Lip Paint is a strong pink lip stain. I do love pink but I found this colour is too bright for me. I found that it dried my lips out BUT because its a lip stain it lasted well. I think price is reasonable as the product does lasts.

Chunky Eyes
Coffee
£4.95

Chunky eyes is a thick eye shadow. I have 'Coffee'  but it is available in 3 other colours. This eyeshadow has a creamy consistency and is a metallic gold colour. I do like this products and I think you can use this colour through out the year. I have used it a couple of times but feel like it will last well.

Souffle - Blackest Black Mascara
£4.95

Souffle is a mascara that helps to 'whip up your lashes'. Its is a dark black thick mascara, it goes on well and helps to extend lashes but can clump slightly if over applied. It does last well and comes off quickly. For the price it is a good mascara but unfortunately it isn't one I will use everyday.

Angled Foundation Brush
£4.95

The W7 Angled Foundation is a lovely brush! It feels so soft and helps to apply foundation evenly. I do like this brush and I think the bamboo handle makes it strong and nice to use, overall I think its a good quality brush and I feel like it will last well.

Overall I think the W7 products are lovely, I am really grateful to have reviewed them and at the moment I have my eye on the new W7 palettes which have been really popular.

Thank you very much to Olivia for sending me the products.

Have you tried W7 before?

Ark Age Aware Skin Care Review & Steps

Hello there

Recently I was lucky enough to be sent some Ark Age Aware Skin Care products. I tested out the Age Aware Discovery Collection - Age Prepare Travel Sizes. These products are designed for those in their teens, 20's and early 30's.

My first thought was how lovely the gift bag is the products arrived in. It would be great for a present for someone as its already wrapped so pretty. The products themselves are in a light travel bag perfect for short get away's.
Inside it contains a set of 4 30ml bottles : 1 x Cleanser, Exfoliator, Masque and Moisturiser.

Step 1 - Cleanse
This clear cleaner contains Watercress, Nettle and Horsetail herbs which help to reduce sebum and help balance your skin out. It smells minty fresh and feels hygienic. I do like this cleaner as my skin felt clean and cleansed afterwards. But my only fault is that I felt like it dried my skin out slightly.

Step 2 - Exfoliate
I really liked this exfoliator it smells lovely, it contains Bentonite beads and Margosa leaf extract. It definitely helped remove dead skin and the beads left my skin feeling lovely and smooth. This is perfect for my skin type and is something I will continue to use.

Step 3 - Masque
The mask contains Kaolin Clay, Wild Water Mint and Anti-pollution Algae.
I left the mask on for 5- 10minutes as it soaked in it turned slightly transparent. It smelt new and minty and left my skin feeling lovely and cool.

Step 4 - Moisturiser
This is such a lovely moisturiser it came out in perfect quantity and easily out of the tube. Filled with rich Avocardo and Peach Lipids it helped hydrated my skin. I gets quiet dry skin and I felt very rejuvenated and refreshed after using this. Overall for me it finished the treatment off and my skin felt very refreshed.

Ark Skin Care Available - http://shop.arkskincare.com/

This product retails at £28.00.
Which I feel is reasonable as the products are worth it and look luxurious. They are perfect for this time of year with Christmas quickly approaching!
If your interested in any of these products make sure you check Ark skincare out.

Thank you Victoria at Ark Skin Care for sending me these beautiful products.
xxxxx

Makeup Revolution Products | Review

Have you joined the Revolution?
Since Makeup Revolution came out earlier this year unbelievably this is the first time I have tried the products! I have recently seen more and more posts about Makeup Revolution so I just needed to get some in my life! They have such a good range of products and the price is very generous.

Full Vamp Limitied Addition Lipstick collection - 100% Vamps, Black Heart & Rebel £3.00
Amazing Lipstick - Mystify £1.00

Firstly I looked at the lipsticks and they have many different colours ranging from bright yellows, oranges to deep reds and black. I LOVE the fact that all the lipsticks are only £1.00 and are of such good quality. They last really well and are very hydrating with a creamy consistecy.
If your a fan of MUA I would highly recommend trying these out. The Vamps range are
very warm and deep tones whereas Mystify is a natural nude. My favorite is Rebel which is the plum red colour.

Salvation Palette Hard Day - £6.00

After seeing the Makeup Revolutions palettes I NEEDED one!
Out of all the palettes I felt I would use the earthy browns and cream colours more from this one. It contains 18 stunning eyeshadows and at the moment my favorite is 'Its what we do best' and 'Not one for playing games'. A few have a shimmer and some are more matte but they last and blend beautifully.

I neeeded a new concealer and I thought I would give this one a try. It has a smooth liquid finish
and is perfect for covering spots and circles. It blends well and is perfect under foundation.
Its available in 3 other shades and since receiving it I have used it daily.

 Viper Mascara Black - £3.00

My last product is this black mascara, I have been using a mascara from MUA for sometime now so I wanted to try out a different one out. I think it takes time to find a mascara that suits your lashes needs. I will do a everyday makeup blog soon as again I have used this mascara everyday since I received it. It goes on smoothly and the arched brush helps to give your lashes more of a lift and extra volume. It lasts really well and is very precise unlike some mascaras!

Glitter Lips Review & How-to

If you like glitter you will LOVE glitter lips!

When we received Glitter Lips I really couldn't wait to try it out. I really like all the colours from the Glitter Lips range. I picked Ruby Slippers which is "one hell of a colour". Its a classic, post box red and looks amazing on. You receive your chosen glitter pot, gloss bond and your glitter applicator. Glitter lips is only £12.99, which I think is such good value for money as it lasts well. This product is perfect for nights out and parties and it lasts up to 8hours - I was really excited try it to see how long it does actually last but it stayed on all day from 9-8 at work.

Glitter lips is available - http://www.beautyboulevard.co.uk/
Or if your local - Beautiful, Nails, Body and Soul, Crewe.

 How to do Glitter Lips

  1. Ensure lips are clean and dry - Apply one lip at a time.
  2. Keep lips separate apply a thin coat of the gloss - Allow the gloss to turn from white to clear.
  3.  Apply the glitter to the lips ensuring an even coverage - lightly dampen pad to help pick more glitter up.
  4. Brush off the excess glitter and then you have your amazing Glitter Lips!
 * To remove the glitter use an oil based make-up remover. *

EOS Lip Balm | Beauty Review

Ever since seeing the EOS lip balms, I have always wanted to try one and now I finally have..

I like EOS products. I love the shape, its quite eye catching and I think they are different to your normal lip balm. They are really handy for this time of year to keep in your bag for keeping your lips smooth. EOS balms keeps your lips lovely and hydrated with Shea butter and Jojoba oils they are 100% natural.

I ordered all 3 of mine in packaging of eBay for £13.99 as the company is based in
USA. I think they sell them for $3.29 but because they are so popular its hard to get your hands on them! They all smell amazing and I picked :
Sweet Mint, Pomegranate Raspberry, Strawberry Sorbet

My personal favorite is the Pomegranate Raspberry as
it smells sweet like fresh fruit.

Have you tried EOS lip balms?
Which is your favorite?

My Cream Winter Coat

Primark - £25.00

Winter is here, the leaves are disappearing and the Christmas adverts are reappearing..

Its getting colder and I have found a winter coat! This Primark coat is perfect for this weather. I adore it, its so soft and cozy, brilliant for the Christmas markets and these dark nights!

My favorite part is the fur, it looks really pretty and you can detach it off the coat. It has two big pockets either side and buttons all the way up. I love the nude colour and I think they do it in different colours aswell.

Have you found your winter coat?

Hope you like it!

November - Tartan& Leather

Its November and its getting chilly, I keep wearing this casual outfit and mixing it up slightly, its perfect for this time of year for going to all the bonfires..

You can never go wrong with a leather jacket, I think its perfect for casual or smart occasions, you can dress it up or down. My leather jacket is from Topshop last year but is still in perfect condition and great quality. You can get a similar jacket online or in high street shops or online sites such as Newlook, River Island, Zara.
Underneath my leather jacket, I am wearing a light grey jumper from Forever 21, Its very comfy and light weight. You can layer it up so its perfect for going out or even just for relaxing in.
My black jeans are super comfy from Newlook, I tend to get my jeans from Newlook as I find they fit me better and I prefer there material.

These classic black heeled boots are super comfy and are so reasonable. I had been looking for boots for a while and then I found these beauties from Peacocks for only £26. They are sturdy with quite a chunky heel but are very easy to walk in and go perfect with a leather jacket, jumper and jeans.

Scarf
I keep wearing tartan scarfs and mentioned my other one in my Autumn styles post. I love the deep colors.

Let me know what your favorites are?
